His status depends on who's asking. If you have money, he's a consultant. If you need impressing, then he's retired. Otherwise, he's gainfully underemployed.

He spends his days trying to improve a certain goddess' life and messing about with technology. He once was an electrical engineer, and a long time ago, wrote 6809 assembly code.
